The two students, who are studying political science and communication in Paris with their action debating and mocking the ban on Niqab.

Risking both criminal records and heavy fines from the authorities, plus a possible backlash from the any militant Muslim community in France, two anti-ban activists hit the streets of Paris as NiqaBitch with their perplexing dress and outspoken protest around personal space.

But Londoners, be prepared, the topic is coming up this women’s day as part of the Birds’s Eye View Film Festival, with a screening of NiqaBitch at the ICA, and within the context of the recent surge in “Islamic patrols” where in certain areas of London local vigilantes were secretly caught on camera telling other Muslims what they couldn’t do on the streets of London, this may prove to be an explosive debate.”

We were not looking to attack or degrade the image of Muslim fundamentalists – each to their own – but rather to question politicians who voted for this law that we consider clearly unconstitutional” they said.
